VALUE WHAT YOU HAVE IN THE PRESENT

It is common that when we get something we want, after a while we might get used to it and take it for granted. It happens with achievements, material things, people, even with ourselves. People always say that health is the most important thing and that we are very lucky to have it, but it is not until we have some discomfort or illness that we really value it. Just having a stuffy nose due to a cold will make us appreciate all the times we breathe properly, as before it was something that was just there, we didn't think about it. This happens to us with different things, with health for example, when we have it we don't realize how important it is until we lose it. With people, when we take them for granted and forget to remind them how much we love them, how much we appreciate the nice things they do for us. When we take important people in our lives for granted, whether it is family, friends or relationships, we will surely regret not having valued or thanked them enough when they are gone. That is why I invite you to pause and evaluate what you are currently experiencing in your life, whether it was once just a wish or a desire, which is now a reality.
Don't wait until you lose things to appreciate them. Don't wait until you lose your health to appreciate it. Don't wait until you lose a person to tell them how much you value their presence in your life. Don't wait until you're sick in bed to appreciate life and realize how lucky you are.….
If you're reading this... You're still very lucky! Be thankful!
Even with all the obstacles you're going through, you have life, people who love you, energy to get back up, and opportunities to improve yourself. Appreciate the present. It's easy to get lost in the daily grind, but you can always pause and be thankful for what's already here, for the life you have. Don't wait for something to be missing to notice it.
It's never too late to realize and appreciate your current life.
Value your present and be thankful for how lucky you are.
Life likes grateful people, so be grateful and life will give you more of that.
Realize how lucky you are now and don't wait for an unfortunate event to happen to see it.
Love, Mel.
